There’s no love lost between DJ Vlad and Rory Farrell, and in a recent segment featuring hip-hop troll, Tekashi 6ix9ine, he didn’t hesitate to take a jab at his media rival.
6ix9ine briefly took over the interviewer duties and asked Vlad a simple but loaded question: Who has the “wackest” podcast?
“New Rory & Mal,” he said without hesitation.
When 6ix9ine replied that he’d “never heard of them,” Vlad doubled down with “Exactly. Rory is just whack. I don’t know about Mal, but Rory is just trash.”
Rory faces a wave of backlash over a collection of resurfaced tweets from 2014 that many critics view as racist and misogynistic, particularly toward Black women.
After ...s began circulating again, the former Joe Budden Podcast host jumped onto X Spaces last week to address the controversy.
Instead of easing tensions, his tone came across as dismissive and sarcastic. In one widely shared clip, Mal asked him whether he was being canceled.
Rory joked, “Yeah, I hate Black women. I think all Black women are ugly.” He followed that with more mockery, saying, “White is the only pure beauty, you guys know how much I love white women.”
Rory later attempted a more direct apology, but listeners said he came off as condescending, sarcastic and deflecting.

At one point, he told a participant, “I’m not apologizing for anyone who has said that I’ve called Black women ugly or roaches. I never said that.”
As Rory attempted to explain himself on X, DJ Vlad weighed in again from his own account. “Rory spent years talking s–t about me, trying to push the ‘I’m white but I’m not like Vlad’ narrative,” he wrote. “He was right.”
He continued, “Now, everyone sees that Rory has always been racist towards Black women. I’m nothing like him.”
