Following his shock firing from Hot 97 last month, DJ Enuff admits that he should have walked away from the radio station years ago.
“I’m gonna keep it a buck. I never said this before: I should have been left there,” he said on Drink Champs. “I stayed there way too long. I stayed there way past my time. I got too comfortable because it was something I was good at.”
The announcement of Enuff’s departure came at the same time Funk Flex announced that his timeslot had come to an end… although it was later revealed that he would not be leaving the station, just changing timeslots.
Enuff shared with TMZ that he believed Flex was behind his firing.
Flex responded to Enuff’s comments.
“TMZ could never twist me up to flip on my guy, I love him to death. I would never have anything to do … not just my brother. I would have nothing to do with anyone being fired or no longer here. You know why? I’m too hot.”
