“Don’t message me about love in my DM” – Basketmouth’s ex-wife, Elsie Okpocha, issues warning to her admirers

Elsie Okpocha, the ex-wife of Nigerian comedian Basketmouth, has issued a warning to her admirers.

Taking to her Instagram page, she cried out over how her DM has been flooded with love messages. Telling her admirers that her DM is for business, she begged them not to slide into her DM if they didn’t have any business deals with her.

Issuing a stern warning, the mum of two told them to stop clogging her DM.

“Guyssss!!!
Plssss, my DM is for business; don’t message me about love; I beg you, in God’s name. If you are not talking business deals, then it’s nonsense to me!!! Stop plssssss; you’re clogging my DM”.

In 2022, Basketmouth announced the end of his marriage with Elsie on his Instagram page. He assured to peacefully co-parent with her in caring for their children and pleaded with the public to respect their privacy.

Last year, Elsie gave a hint to the cause of her crashed marriage as she advised women with cheating spouses. She noted how a woman could be beautiful, sexy, and could have all good qualities, and yet their men would still cheat.

In another post, Elsie had also stated marriage-shamers, cautioning them against shaming unmarried women.

In May of this year, she addressed overzealous netizens, advising her to go back to her husband as she expressed that nobody enters a marriage to leave and that for a woman to walk out of her marriage means she must have exhausted all her patience and tried every possible thing to make sure that it works. She warned people to mind their business and know that a marriage ending is not from lack of trying.

Just recently, an Instagram blogger identified had unveiled the lady allegedly behind their crashed marriage, Victoria Eze, popularly known as Miz Vick, a writer, storyteller and TV host. According to the blog, the two have been having an affair and are still going strong.

Kemi Filani dug further and noticed that in November of 2023, Basketmouth had publicly appreciated her for all she does for him and his brand.
