Nigerian music executive, Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has issued a warning to 𝕏 user impersonating him.

Naijaonpoint reports that the fake account recently posted a message inviting users to join a supposed giveaway, using his name and image, which misled many followers.

The real Don Jazzy addressed the impersonation from his verified account, telling the operator to stop using his identity.

He advised that any giveaways should be conducted under the impersonator’s real name and photo.

He also warned that the impersonator should not complain if legal action is taken, highlighting the risks of misleading users online.

He wrote: “Good evening sir/ma. Dont you see how using my name and image on this account looks dodgy. You can do your giveaways with your own name and pic if you really want to help people. Dont say they are bullying you if you get arrested o. I come in peace.”

In other news, Don Jazzy has revealed why he cannot reconcile with his ex-wife, Michelle Jackson.

Naijaonpoint recalls that Don Jazzy first broke the news of his marriage in April 2021, but stated that the union crashed due to a lack of commitment.

He claimed that their marital issues were a result of his ambitious nature for his music career, adding that they divorced two years after they married.
