Drake Affiliated Top5 St*bbed in the UK After Attending the Wireless Festival

MTO Square

Toronto rapper Top5 was reportedly stabbed in North London just hours after pulling up to a Drake concert in the U.K.

The incident went down shortly after midnight Monday (July 15), when the Metropolitan Police were called to Springpark Drive in North London.

“The victim, a man in his 20s, was approached by a group who damaged his car before stabbing him in the leg. He was taken to hospital, and his injuries are not believed to be life-changing,” a police spokesperson told CityNews.

Authorities say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.

A wild video surfaced online, appearing to show the moments before the attack. In the clip, several people can be seen surrounding a Mercedes, jumping on the windshield, and doing serious damage. While police haven’t confirmed if the footage is tied to the stabbing, fans online believe it’s connected to Top5’s altercation.

The stabbing occurred not long after Top5 attended a show on Drake’s Some Special Shows 4 U tour.

Top5, whose real name is Hassan Ali, has been embroiled in legal trouble in recent years. Back in September 2024, he was cleared of murder charges in the high-profile case involving the 2021 shooting death of 20-year-old Hashim Omar Hashi, who was gunned down in the parking garage of a Toronto apartment complex.

In January 2025, he was arrested again after Toronto police executed a search warrant in Markham, Ontario. He’s currently facing five gun-related charges, including possession of a weapon and unauthorized possession of a firearm.
