WATCH THE VIDEO HERE A meeting hosted in Abuja to discuss the political coalition against the All Progressives Congress (APC) was disrupted by some of the delegates. The coalition meeting held at the Abuja Continental Hotel, organised by the National Political Consultative Group (North)which has the present of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Labour Party’s (LP), Peter Obi and former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, among others. According to reports, the disruption followed the recognition of a delegate to speak for the state by former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Babachir Lawal. Dissatisfied by this, several Jigawa delegates in protest stormed the stage and blocked the individual from speaking, insisting they would not be represented by the individual. It took the intervention of police officers and operatives of the Department of State Services (DSS) present to restore normalcy at the meeting. The security details also hurriedly protected the key figures at the meeting.
