A well-dressed woman has caused concern in Lagos after she returned to Panti Police Station, saying she wanted to rent an apartment, just days after she went viral for booking a ₦15,000 Uber ride from Lekki to report that “the sun was too hot.”

Eyewitnesses said she slept outside the station overnight with her bags.
Her actions have raised questions about mental health awareness and support in Nigeria.
According to eyewitnesses, the lady, who had earlier booked a ₦15,000 Uber ride from Lekki to Panti to lodge the unusual complaint, returned to the same location, claiming she wanted to rent an apartment nearby.
Reports indicate that she refused to leave the area and spent the night outside the station with her bags full of clothes.
A witness shared, “This girl has come again today, saying she wants to rent an apartment in Panti. She slept outside all through without going home after coming to report that the sun was too hot.”
Her actions have raised serious concerns about her mental well-being, with many social media users urging relevant authorities and mental health professionals to intervene.
The Uber driver from her previous visit had also gone viral for lamenting the ₦15,000 trip, saying it was his first ride of the day and expressing shock at the nature of her complaint.
As of now, no official statement has been made by the Lagos Police Command regarding the woman’s condition or whether she has received medical attention.
Many Nigerians have since taken to social media to question how to differentiate between a “mad person” and someone merely struggling with unseen mental challenges.
