Drama as ‘married’ woman secretly weds another man

ZIMBABWE: A bitter dispute has erupted in Chihota after Margaret Shamiso Mandishona (30) secretly married a UK-based man, Bester, while still legally married to Kelvin Wazeza (40).

Wazeza, who had been married to Mandishona for nine years, only recently learned of the secret marriage when he discovered his wife’s frequent visits to Zimbabwe.

After contacting Bester, who claimed to be Mandishona’s brother, Wazeza was shocked to find out about their secret lobola ceremony.

Mandishona, however, denied still being married to Wazeza, accusing him of abuse and infidelity, and claimed she had left him multiple times.

She also asserted that the money for her lobola was her own. Bester, who confirmed his legal marriage to Mandishona, challenged Wazeza to address his concerns directly.
