It seems the drama at controversial singer Portable’s home isn’t dying anytime soon, as his wife, Bewaji, and babymama, Ashabi, shaded each other.
Kemi Filani reported hours ago that the singer, who was arrested by Ashabi for assaulting her and her family, was released from police detention.
Taking to her Instagram story to celebrate the news, Bewaji shared a video of herself taunting her husband’s haters.
In another post, she told trolls not to come for her.
“Make una sha no come for me because ko ni funny”.
Responding to her, Ashabi, via her Instagram story, questioned if Bewaji wasn’t childish. She stated that any shade she sees, she would use it to see her front as she isn’t looking for cheap fame.
“Isn’t that childish, Iyawa?
Me throw shades keh?
Any shade wey I c now na to use ham see front.
I no dey throw anybody.
Not looking for cheap fame here”.
Kemi Filani reported that the controversial singer was arrested by his actress babymama, Ashabi. In a clip that made rounds online, Portable was captured trying to escape as a group of people held tightly to him.
Last week, the singer was arraigned at a High Court in Onipanu, on charges including assault, felony occasioning harm and resisting arrest. He was accused of attacking Ashabi and obstructing a female police inspector, Ogungbe Olayemi, in the course of her official duties. He was remanded in custody until January 19, when his bail application will be considered.
Recall that on New Year, Portable and Ashabi had engaged in a heated argument, as Ashabi told the singer to kill her.
In an Instagram video, Portable claimed that Ashabi came to his house to attack his family. He claimed that his pregnant wife was beaten mercilessly, and guns were pointed at his children. He further claimed Ashabi’s mother accused him of using charm on her daughter and questioned why he didn’t buy a car for her.
Speaking up for herself, the upcoming actress explained that when she and her siblings went to celebrate the New Year with him, he pushed her and slapped her. She alleged that he brought out an axe and forcefully took all their phones, gave her younger brother a blow in his eye, and slapped her younger sister, which left her seeking safety in his office.
