Drama as Tope Alabi refuses to perform at Lizzy Anjorin’s surprise birthday party amid payment (Video)

News is making rounds online that Award-winning singer Tope Alabi refused to honour controversial actress Lizzy Anjorin at her surprise birthday party.

According to reports, Tope Alabi was contracted to perform at Lizzy’s surprise birthday party on Friday and made payments to the singer. Unfortunately, on getting to the venue and realizing who she was performing for, Tope Alabi refused to perform.

In an interview with Chude Jideonwo, Lizzy addressed claims of constantly fighting her colleagues. She revealed that she doesn’t come for people except they come for her, as she noted how her reputation as a business tycoon and actress doesn’t allow her to pick fights with people. She blamed all her social media spats on her colleagues, who she claimed were the real troublemakers.

Recall that for over two years, Iyabo and Lizzy have been at war over undisclosed reason. Iyabo had shared a video where she was mimicking and mocking Lizzy humorously. Lizzy, who was offended went on to reveal some intimate details about Iyabo, accusing her of promiscuity.

Following the allegation, Iyabo threatened legal action against Lizzy, demanding a public apology or risk paying N500 million for her libellous publication.

In March, last year, Iyabo filed a defamatory lawsuit against Lizzy; unfortunately, Lizzy failed to attend court during their first hearing. The court had later served her letters, which were pasted on her house gate.

In July, the judge presiding over their case had played a mediator between the two as he reconciled the actresses. Confirming it to the press, Iyabo stated that the judge gave both of them motherly advice to stop fighting and cursing each other on social media and embrace peace.
