Regina Daniels, a Nollywood actor and the estranged wife of the senator representing Delta North Senatorial District, Ned Nwoko has reacted to allegations of drug abuse against her by the lawmaker.
Daniel in a video shared on her social media pages said, contrary to online fabrication, she has never used any form of illegal substances.
In the video which captured the actress leaving a hospital, Daniels who is in a marital battle for the custody of her children with Nwoko said she is not a drug addict.
She also shared the result of her drug test online while stating that her decision to take this test was aimed at clearing her name.
She also stated that she wished to – through the test – give her children clarification and the truth about the allegations against her.
According to Daniels, she intends to take legal action against individuals or groups of persons responsible for fabricating such lies against her person.
Her words, “I’m not a drug addict. I was never on hard drugs or any nonsense fabricated online.
“Taking this test is not just about clearing my name. It’s to give my children something priceless so that when they grow up, they will know their mother was not an addict. Regina Daniels is not an addict. I was never on any nonsense fabricated online.
“I will definitely sue at the appropriate time. There are certain narratives I can no longer allow to linger with my name. What better way to tear down a brand than drugs?” the actress queried.
