Results from the Local Government Areas, LGA, have been collated and moved to the Central Collation Centre of the Commission in Benin City, the state capital. The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Labour Party, LP, are the main contenders for the state’s number one seat. The election ended on Saturday and INEC officials counted and announced the results at polling units.
