Sen. Ned Nwoko (APC-Delta) has called on Muslim faithful in Nigeria to use the period of the Eid-El-Maulud celebration to reflect and draw lessons from the life of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
Nwoko representing Delta North Senatorial District and Chairman, Senate Committee on Reparations and Repatriation made the call in his Eid-El-Maulud message made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja on Friday.
He also urged Nigerians to combine knowledge with patience to overcome trials with perseverance.
According to him, as we mark the birth of Prophet Muhammad, we are reminded to follow in his footsteps, learn from his life, and draw strength from the way he endured and triumphed over hardships
“God has blessed our efforts and answered our prayers under Mr President, Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Agenda.
“We must combine knowledge, which is a light that guides us, with patience, which helps us overcome trials with perseverance.
“This is what we have learned from the Prophet Muhammad,” Nwoko said.(NAN)(www.nannews.ng)
