The North-Central All Progressives Congress (APC) Forum has felicitated with President Bola Tinubu, Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang and the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

The Forum, in a statement released in Jos on Friday by its Chairman, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga, also felicitated with APC National Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

Zazzaga, who is also the founder of the APC Green Cap Movement in Plateau State, urged all Nigerians to support the Tinubu-led Federal Government to deepen the gains already recorded by the administration.

Parts of the statement read, “I heartily congratulate His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang and the National Chairman of our party, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, on this auspicious occasion of Eid-el-Kabir.

“May Almighty Allah continue to guide them in their efforts at building a stronger, more united and prosperous Plateau and Nigeria of our collective dreams.”

‎Zazzaga urged Nigerians to continue to pray for the peace, unity and stability of the nation, and to use the occasion of Eid to show kindness and support to the less privileged in the society.

He also urged Nigerians to use the moment to show peace and respect for one another, no matter their faith, and as well as pray for Tinubu and Mutfwang to succeed in office.

“Once again, I wish all Muslim faithful a joyful and peaceful Sallah celebration. Eid Mubarak,” he added.

Commending members of the APC in the North-Central for supporting the Tinubu administration, Zazzaga expressed gratitude to the President for establishing the North Central Development Commission, following agitations by the Forum after the region was initially left out.

“President Bola Tinubu has demonstrated that he is a leader who has a listening ear. He has been good to the North-Central and that is why, as APC stakeholders, we decided to endorse him for a second term – the first group to do so,” Zazzaga said.

He noted that the Forum is happy that, ever since it endorsed Tinubu for a second term, several other organizations have followed suit by endorsing the President.

He especially commended the leadership of the APC for formally endorsing Tinubu’s reelection at the party’s recent National Summit, which took place at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

Zazzaga assured that Tinubu will get the massive support of the North-Central towards his reelection.

“We are are restating our pledge to deliver six million votes for President Bola Tinubu in the North-Central geopolitical zone in 2027,” he added.

The Forum also used the occasion to again urge Plateau State governor, Mutfwang, to join the APC before the 2027 election.

According to Zazzaga, the APC is the best option for Mutfwang to advance his political interests, as joining the party would enable him to work hard in hand with the President.

“Governor Caleb Mutfwang joining the APC is in the interest of Plateau State and the North-Central. It will also strengthen the APC to continue delivering good governance to Nigerians,” Zazzaga said, adding that the Forum is optimistic that the governor will heed the call eventually.

Zazzaga stressed that the North-Central APC Forum will continue to champion the progress and development of the region, and Nigeria at large.

He noted that the several agitations of the Forum were aimed at advancing the interests of the region, and also promoting good governance. Zazzaga expressed happiness that the Forum has recorded successful outcomes in most of its agitations.

“We will not rest on our oars, we will continue to push for progress and development,” he stressed.
