Emmanuel Dennis has been linked with several European clubs in the past six weeks…

Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis could be on his way out of European football, as he has been heavily linked with a move to Iranian club Persepolis, Soccernet.ng reports.

Dennis has been without a club since parting ways with Nottingham Forest at the end of August, but he has already been linked with several clubs in the past six weeks.

The Super Eagles star has been linked with Celtic, Pafos, Watford and other relatively smaller clubs, but nothing has materialized.

It has been difficult to pinpoint the reason for Dennis’ delay in joining a new club, as the 27-year-old forward could actually be a real asset for many clubs in Europe.

Meanwhile, according to fresh reports from Africa Foot, Dennis might be leaving European football soon. This is as the Super Eagles star has been linked with Iranian club Persepolis.

They are one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the Persian Gulf Pro League, with 16 domestic title to their name.

The entire squad is valued at €16.3 million, with their most valuable being Uzbekistan striker Oston Urunov, who is value at €2million.

They have Ivorian defender Serge Aurier on their roster. But he is the only African on the team.

Should Emmanuel Dennis Move To Persepolis?

Moving to Persepolis would be a great addition to Persepolis, but it would be a really strange and shocking move for Emmanuel Dennis.

He is just 27 years of age and still in his prime years. So, leaving Europe for Iran would be surprising at his age.

Moreover, Persepolis aren’t exactly money bags and can’t give him a bumper contract. So it is difficult to find the motivation behind the transfer if it happens.
