Since then, he has been linked with many clubs. It looked like he was set to join Scottish Premiership champions Celtic, but the transfer did not materialize eventually. However, it appears that the Super Eagles striker might be close to joining a club.
According to reports from Daily Mail, the 27-year-old forward is on the radar of Watford. Recall that he has good history with the club, having spent two different stints with them in the 2021/22 Premier League season, and in the Championship two seasons ago.
