It was an emotional night for colleagues, family and lovers of the late actress, Allwell Ademola.

Kemi Filani reported on Thursday evening that a Service of Songs was held for the movie star. Her colleagues, family and friends gathered in large numbers to pay their last respects.

In one of the emotional clips from the Service of Songs, Biola Bayo, Rotimi Salami, and Saidi Balogun broke down as they spoke about the late actress.

Biola Bayo, in her speech, noted how nobody knows what tomorrow holds and advised the public to value and love their loved ones. She described the deceased as her sister and friend and expressed happiness that she supported the movie star while she was alive.

“Nobody knows tomorrow, treat your loved ones with love. I was always with Allwell, and she would snap pictures and post them. For the first time in my life, I’ve come to appreciate making videos.
Allwell was my sister and friend, and I find solace in the fact that I did all I could for her when she was alive”.

Rotimi said Allwell was the one who discovered him when he was struggling in Nollywood. He said she cleaned him up, and his suffering became a thing of the past.

“I suffered a lot in the English movie industry, and God used Allwell to give me hope again. She singlehandedly, with the help of God, picked me up, and all my suffering became a thing of the past”.

Mourning her, Rotimi Salami, noted how 72 hours of endless tears still can’t bring her back. Rotimi made it known that all wasn’t well at the moment, but for the sake of his family, friends, and the fans who had shown up, and most especially, for his children, he was learning to move on.

Biola Bayo recounted their last moments together, describing the deceased as the happiest soul she had ever met and told the public to wake her up from the nightmare.

Regina Chukwu said she was still in denial and refuses to accept her death. She noted how they were planning the shoot for Aarin’s Sequel together.

Jamiu Azeez had recounted his last moment with Allwell, noting how she was so full of life. According to him, they laughed, played, and had a great deal of fun, and now she is gone. He noted that Allwell was friends with everyone and remembered his last words to her.

While celebrating her 40th birthday party days back, Folorunsho Adeola made sure that Allwell was given massive respect by honouring her with a moment of silence.

Writing a note to her on her Instagram, Folorunsho said Allwell mattered deeply to her as she recounted her good deeds. The Yoruba actress added that though she was no longer here, she lives in their stories, prayers, and in their quiet moments.

Saidi Balogun shared a photo of himself and the late actress at an event, saying it felt unreal and that he wished he could turn back the hands of time, but God knows best. The ex-husband of Faithia Williams said Allwell’s smile remains frozen in time, and her aura is unforgettable.
