It was a reunion moment for Nollywood actresses and friends Eniola Badmus and Funke Akindele in Abuja.
Eniola, who has been residing in Abuja since her government appointment, attended a meet-and-greet for Funke’s new movie, “Behind The Scenes,” at Silverbird Cinema, Jabi, Abuja.
Eniola, via her Instagram page, shared photos from their sweet reunion, describing the Meet and Greet as a huge success.
“Abuja was a huge success.

Over the years, Funke and Eniola have grown from being colleagues to being best friends and sisters. The friendship between the two is one that many find admirable.
On Funke’s 48th birthday, Badmus described Funke as her sister for many years and stated that Funke was more than just her friend. She said Funke is the one she loves, and the one who truly loves her back in ways unexplainable. She appreciated the filmmaker for all the memories and for bringing brightness to her life.
Some months back, when Eniola broke down at a public event over her inability to have children, Funke had prayed for her to have kids. She had also vowed to throw a big part in her children’s naming ceremony.
Recall that in 2023, rumors of bad blood between the two made rounds after Badmus shunned Funke’s movie premiere. Even though she helped in putting up a promotional post for the movie, she ensured she was absent from the movie premiere to pay back Funke for the times she shunned her events too.
