Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has called for immediate action over the ongoing violence, abductions and terrorism in the country.
In the wake of the recent attack on CAC in Kwara and the abduction of 25 girls in Kebbi, Iyabo said enough is enough. She noted how the abduction of girls is a stark reminder of the Chibok girls tragedy and the urgent need for change.
Calling on Nigerians to stand against injustice, Iyabo outlined concrete steps the government can take to address the issues.

This isn’t the first time, Iyabo is lending her voice to issues in the country. The movie star, has become one of the few outspoken celebrities constantly calling out the ills in the country.
During the Ibadan explosion last year, she lamented over the happenings in the country, noting how kidnapping has become the order of the day. She revealed that she couldn’t watch the videos from the explosion, which she described as heart-wrenching, as she sent prayers to the victims.
Also, last year, while reacting to the government’s decision to give N8k monthly to poor Nigerians, the businesswoman pondered on whether Nigerians have the strength to hold on before they reap the imaginary Renewed Hope.
The single mother of two, stirred reactions with her message to president Tinubu over the end bad governance protests. The activist had called out the President, noting how his silence was deafening and disheartening. She questioned if democracy wasn’t about the people and for the people anymore if they can’t express their concerns and be heard.
She had also called out the Nigerian police, making them know that an injustice for one is an injustice for all.
In an Instagram post, the partner of Paulo, had vowed to stop reading her DM to protect her sanity. She stated that hardship, acute depression, and drug intake are what are causing a huge volume of insecurity, and mental health in our society, and prayed for wisdom for the government.
Finally, reaping the reward for her advocacy, Iyabo had bagged a Leadership award, for Youth and Empowerment. Appreciating the award organisers, she expressed her gratitude to them.
