Eric Chelle eyes Chelsea loanee for Super Eagles call-up

Super Eagles boss Eric Chelle is reportedly keeping a close watch on Borussia’s Carney Chukwuemeka, Footynaija.com reports.

The 21-year-old midfielder, currently on loan from Chelsea, has been turning heads with his impressive displays in the Bundesliga.

Reports indicate that his strong form has caught the eye of Nigeria’s coaching staff as they build for the future.

After struggling with injuries at Chelsea, Chukwuemeka joined Dortmund in January, and he is quickly rediscovering his best form.

The German club is now planning to make his move permanent, with a €30 million fee set to be triggered if they secure a Champions League spot.
