Henry Onyekuru has been linked with several Turkish clubs this summer, but it seems he is set to settle down
Super Eagles striker Henry Onyekuru is close to joining newly-promoted Turkish Super Lig club Genclerbirligi, Soccernet.ng reports.
Onyekuru had been without a club since parting ways with Saudi Arabian club Al Fayha at the end of last season.
The Nigerian striker moved to Saudi Arabia from Adana Demirspor two years ago, but he fell out with the club last season.
This summer, Onyekuru has been training individually. But it has been expected that he will join a Turkish Super Lig club.
The 28-year-old striker has been linked to clubs like Besiktas, Kocaelispor, Fenerbahce, and Alanyaspor. However, it seems he has made a decision.

Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo is also at Genclerbirligi. He was crucial to their promotion push last season with 27 appearances in the Turkish second tier.

Skorer reports that Etebo played an important role in making Onyekuru choose the club.
Onyekuru has loads of experience playing in Turkey, and he will be looking to return with a bang and score goals aplenty.
