Nigerian music star Davido continues to lend his voice to the ongoing events in the country.
The music star, who held a sold-out concert in Atlanta a few days ago, shared a video of the event on his Instagram page, accompanied by a heartfelt message for the birthday love he received.
He stated that even as they celebrate, his heart is with home. The singer noted how Nigeria is going through too much and called for peace.

The few days back, Davido, had expressed heartbreak for the young girls who were kidnapped in Kebbi. He noted how no family deserves such pain, as he called for unity among Nigerians. Davido also expressed sadness over the tragic attack on the church in Kwara State. Praying for the victims and their families, he stated that these acts of violence must never become their norms.
Similarly, Toyin Abraham had written a note to mothers, noting how they carry a kind of fear that sits deep in their bones. According to her, when they hear of such violence, it is not just news to them, but a wound. Abraham noted how terrorism and religious extremism are tearing at the fabric of our communities and questioned how we can confront such a situation.
Her colleague, Iyabo Ojo called for immediate actions. She said enough is enough, noting how the abduction of girls is a stark reminder of the Chibok girls tragedy and the urgent need for change. Calling on Nigerians to stand against injustice, Iyabo outlined concrete steps the government can take to address the issues.
Even Wizkid’s son, Boluwatife, surprised many as he stated that he is part of a generation that refuses to stay silent. He noted how we are the future of this country and will not accept a future filled with fear.
