The son of Nigerian billionaire businessman and Eleganza Chairman, Rasaq Okoya, Raheem, has boasted that every one of his possessions and finances is a result of his hard work, not his father’s wealth.
Naijaonpoint reports that Raheem, in an interview with Wazobia FM, clarified that he earns his money through his work and effort.
When asked, “Raheem, do you make your own money?
He responded, “Yes, of course. Every penny in my bank today is based off of what I do, my sweat, my hard-earned money, not my father’s.”
He also added that while he might not be where he wants to be yet, he is comfortable and grateful for his progress.
He added, “I’m comfortable, you know. Obviously I’m not where I want to be, but at least if I want chop, I fit chop now.”
Meanwhile, Shade Okoya recently stated that she did not miss out on any aspect of life despite marrying an older man.
Shade married 85-year-old billionaire, Razak Okoya, in 1999, when she was 21, and was heavily criticised over the union.
However, in an interview with BBC Yoruba, Shade Okoya boasted that she has never missed out on anything for not marrying a younger man.
She affirmed that she is pleased in her marriage.
