“Every person has a unique grace” – Davido says as he explains the meaning behind the title of his new album

Nigerian award-winning singer Davido, who is gearing up for the release of his album, 5ive, has explained the meaning behind the title of his album.

On his Instagram page, Davido mentioned that 5 is a prophetic number, and it means grace. The singer further noted how Grace means unmerited favour and deserved favour.

The singer added that every person has a unique grace as he teased his album.

“No. 5️⃣ is a prophetic number. No. 5️⃣ means Grace. Grace means unmerited favour and deserved favour. Every person has a unique Grace. It’s coming”.

Many of his fans and followers flooded his comment section, expressing excitement at his upcoming album.

Kemi Filani reported in December that Davido had announced he was working on another album, 5IVE, which is straight from the heart and tells his story, truth, and growth. Releasing a song with Odumodublvck ahead of his album, Davido dedicated the song to the dreamers, go-getters, and everyone chasing what’s theirs. He appreciated the public for riding with me as he cheered on them to make history with him.

Over the years, Davido has proven himself to be one of the greatest of his time. He has had quite several successful albums and shows that pulled in thousands of fans. He has performed in many countries outside Africa, and he often draws mammoth crowds during his performances, which goes to show just how far his influence has gone.

In September, the singer achieved a major milestone in his career, as he made it to the Billboard Honor Roll of 2024 for topping the streaming charts. The singer was the only Nigerian singer to make it to the list, which was quite a big deal for any artist at all.

He had also sent a message to his naysayers and those who underestimated him. The Afrobeat singer told his haters and critics never to play with God as he listed out his wins, noting how people mocked him for not having a Grammy nomination, and now he had it and much more.
