Just last week, Toyin had bagged a Trailblazer award from Silverbird TV. To celebrate her win, Toyin penned a heartfelt note, noting how the award is a reminder that hard work, perseverance, and passion never go unnoticed. She stated that she is a testament to every dreamer who dares to push boundaries and break barriers.

Toyin Abraham has undoubtedly come a long way in her acting and filmmaking career. The movie star who made her first cinema debut in 2018 with the premiere of The Ghost and the Tout, has made a name for herself as one of the highest grossing female filmmaker.

In December of last year, while celebrating her latest movie’s Cinema milestone, Toyin stated that beating her record had always been her goal, and she was glad she had achieved it. She noted how many people tried putting down her work, but God showed himself as God.

In a previous post, she made it known that she is her own competition as she expressed gratitude to her fans and everyone who has supported her projects.

Despite her success in the box office, many love to underrate her and compare her to her colleague, Funke Akindele. Tired of the yearly comparison, Toyin had slammed a fan of Funke, for putting down her hard work. She expressed how tired she was of people putting down her hard work and calling her out for copying.
