“Everything surrounding your name was like the opposite, but God doesn’t make mistakes” – Portable’s babymama Ashabi celebrates daughter as she turns 6 months

Nollywood actress and babymama of music star Portable, Omobolarinde Akinyanju, better known as Ashabi, is celebrating her daughter as she turns 6 months old.

On her Instagram page, the mother of two shared a video which captured her pregnancy journey and her daughter’s growth in the past six months.

In a lengthy caption, Ashabi revealed that everything surrounding her daughter’s name was the opposite, but because God doesn’t make mistakes, He perfected them. Ashabi expressed how happy she is to call her mine as she revealed that someday she will be bold enough to tell a little story about her name.

The Yoruba actress noted how she had known her daughter’s beginning and declared that she would not know her end.

“Oluwademilade, how fast can time fly? Wow, it’s exactly 6 months; I welcomed my mini version. My precious gift, DORA eeehiiii. Everything surrounding your name, IRORUNOLUWA, was like the opposite, but because GOD doesn’t make mistakes, He perfected them, and today, I’m happy I have you to call mine.
I know one day I will be bold enough to say a little story about your name, ORIJAFUNMI, but not now. I’m just grateful GOD really does. May death not snatch you away from me abisola mi; I have known your beginning, and truly, EYITAYO, I won’t know your end. You will grow in GOD grace, wisdom, knowledge & understanding, you won’t fall sick, and I will always have reason to laugh and be grateful for you by GOD grace, Omomi Idunumi. Everything about you brings me peace ever since I learned to let go, look away, take things as it is and be contented, AYOYOMI”.

Kemi Filani reported in September that Portable and Ashabi had welcomed their second child, a baby girl. The controversial singer made the good news known on his Instagram page with a clip of his newborn daughter and maternity photos of Ashabi. He thanked God for his princess and gave a shout-out to Ashabi.

Ashabi, on her part, stated that her heart was filled with joy as she welcomed her playmate.
