TRAGIC: Former Nickelodeon Star Kianna Underwood Killed in Brooklyn Hit-and-Run

This is heartbreaking.

Media Take Out has learned that the woman killed in a brutal hit-and-run in Brooklyn on Friday morning has been identified as Kianna Underwood, a former child actress who appeared on Nickelodeon’s hit sketch comedy show All That.

Underwood was just 33 years old.

According to law enforcement sources, the tragedy happened around 6:50 a.m. at the intersection of Watkins Street and Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville. Police say Kianna was crossing the street when she was struck by a black Ford SUV traveling west on Pitkin Avenue.

What happened next was horrific.

Surveillance footage shows the vehicle continuing down the street with Kianna’s body trapped underneath it. About a block later, her body fell from beneath the SUV and was discovered at the intersection of Osborn Street and Pitkin Avenue. She was pronounced dead at the scene from severe trauma.

And the driver?
They kept going.

As of Friday afternoon, no arrests have been made.

Kianna Underwood was known to many for her appearance on the final season of All That in 2005, where she performed alongside big names like Kenan Thompson, Amanda Bynes, and Nick Cannon.

She also had a role on Nickelodeon’s Little Bill, playing Fuschia Glover, the cousin of the main character. Her acting résumé included appearances in the films The 24 Hour Woman and Death of a Dynasty, a 2003 satire about the hip-hop industry that featured a young Kevin Hart.

Kianna even had a background in live theater. According to her IMDB profile, she spent a year on the road as a stage performer, playing Little Inez during the first national tour of the Broadway musical Hairspray.

She was born in New York City before later moving to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career.

Right now, investigators believe Kianna had just left a nearby bodega and may have been crossing against the light at the time of the accident. Sources say the driver may not have even realized they struck someone.

Still, that does not change the fact that someone’s life was taken and the person responsible did not stop.

Social media is already filled with shock and sadness as fans remember Kianna from her time on Nickelodeon and her work as a young entertainer.

Another young life, gone too soon.

If you have any information about this tragic hit-and-run, police are urging the public to come forward.
