The Ex Fenerbahce player appeared in 35 matches for the Super Eagles and scored 16 goals, before ending his international career in 2015. Since retiring from professional football, the ex-Nigerian striker has pursued various ventures, with his latest endeavor being the construction of a grand hospital in his home state, Imo. Meanwhile, Emenike recently criticized UK news site “The Mirror” for referring to Europa League champion Ademola Lookman as an “Everton flop” in a headline. Emenike called out the British news site while praising Lookman’s incredible performance, stating “This is a massive achievement for the nation of Nigeria. However, as a Nigerian I feel very disappointed with this headline. This achievement has never been done in the history of the game. There’s not enough focus on what he’s achieved.”
The Emenike Hospital, which will open its doors to the general public on May 25th, is said to be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by experienced healthcare professionals.
