Inter Milan and Barcelona will renew rivalries on Tuesday in what is expected to be a blockbuster match-up as both teams battle for a spot in the Champions League final. The first leg at Estadi Olimpic Lluis Companys ended 3-3, with Barcelona fighting back twice in the fixture. This time, Inter Milan will have the home advantage as the game will be played at the San Siro. Due to their home advantage, Inter Milan are the slight favourites, but Barcelona pose a big threat due to their impressive attack. Ahead of the game, Taiwo, who spent two years in Italy, playing for AC Milan, has given Inter Milan a tip on how to defeat Barcelona. “For me, they (Inter Milan) have a big opportunity for sure, but it is not going to be easy to play against Barcelona,” Taiwo told RG. “The two teams are currently tied at 3-3 so Inter have to be very careful when they play at home. “If Inter can score an early goal [on Tuesday], I believe they have the quality to go through with their strong defence.” Taye Taiwo is one of the best defenders to come out of Nigeria. He played for some top clubs in Europe, including Marseille, AC Milan, and Dynamo Kyiv. Operating primarily from the left-back position, he won 54 caps for Nigeria and scored five goals. He was known for his pace, agility, and remarkable shot power. The 40-year-old retired from active football in 2022.YOU MAY ALSO LIKE
