50 Cent Is Suing His Baby Mama for MILLIONS — And He Wants the Court to Move FAST
50 Cent is not playing games, and he’s taking his longtime baby mama Shaniqua Tompkins straight to federal court with his foot on the gas.
Media Take Out has learned that 50 Cent is pressing a New York federal judge to rule in his favor immediately, after Tompkins failed to respond to a lawsuit accusing her of violating a long-standing legal agreement tied to the rights to her life story.
And the price tag is not small. We’re talking more than $1 million, plus interest, legal fees, and a permanent gag order.
The 2007 Deal That Started It All
At the center of the legal fight is a Life Rights Agreement signed back in 2007.
According to court filings, Shaniqua agreed to sell exclusive rights to her life story to 50 Cent’s company, G-Unit Books, in exchange for $80,000 upfront and future royalties. The deal gave G-Unit full control over how her story could be told, sold, or monetized.
That exclusivity is the whole point of the agreement. And according to 50’s lawyers, Shaniqua blew it up.
The Videos That Allegedly Crossed the Line
G-Unit claims Tompkins violated the contract by releasing a series of videos in 2023 and again in 2025, where she spoke in detail about her relationship with 50 Cent, her role in his early rise, and their shared history.
The company alleges those videos were intended to be monetized and that once they went public, the exclusivity G-Unit paid for was effectively destroyed.
In plain terms, 50’s team is saying, “We paid for the story. She gave it away anyway.”
She Never Responded — Now 50 Wants a Default Win
According to court documents, Shaniqua was legally served after multiple attempts. When standard delivery didn’t work, G-Unit used New York’s “nail and mail” method, posting the lawsuit to her door and mailing it.
She was required to respond by September 10, 2025.
She never did.
Now 50’s attorneys are asking the judge to issue a default judgment, which would mean the court rules in G-Unit’s favor automatically, without her ever presenting a defense.
They are also requesting a permanent injunction that would block her from posting any future content related to her life with 50 Cent and force the removal of existing videos.
What 50 Cent Is Asking the Court to Do
G-Unit Books is pursuing three major legal claims:
Breach of contract
Breach of good faith and fair dealing
Declaratory judgment confirming the agreement is enforceable
They want the court to confirm that Shaniqua must pay damages, costs, and attorneys’ fees, and that the original indemnification clause still stands.
Translation: pay up, take it down, and stop talking.

The timing is interesting. This legal push comes as 50 Cent’s Netflix docuseries Sean Combs: The Reckoning continues to dominate streaming charts, cementing his position as one of the most powerful figures in entertainment right now.
