The following month, the Georgia Department of Revenue filed a state lien for $167,000, which grew to nearly $294,000 once penalties and interest were added. Together, the two liens total nearly $1.9 million in unpaid taxes.
Offset’s position is that Cardi should help shoulder the financial burden instead of leaving him responsible for cleaning up the mess alone.
