Nollywood actor and movie maker Tope Adebayo Salami has expressed joy as he finally wraps up filming Jagun Jagun 2.

Taking to his Instagram page, he expressed gratitude to his Maker as he revealed that a few weeks ago, they embarked on this journey, and now, they are done. The son of veteran, Adebayo Salami appreciated the entire production crew and cast as he told the public to expect the unexpected.

Recall that his elder brother, Femi Adebayo released his first movie, Jagun Jagun on popular streaming platform, Netflix, which shattered records, as it went global on the streaming app with 2.1 million views. It was also ranked 5th in Non-English Charts, and was listed among the Top 10 trending movies on Netflix in 17 countries.

Opening up on the movie in an interview with the press, the box office King revealed that he sold his properties to fund the movie, which is a multi-billion project, because he didn’t want to seek help from financial institutions and individuals. Elsewhere in the interview, he revealed his worst nightmare and its inspiration.

In May this year, Jagun Jagun bagged an award at the 10th edition of Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards AMVCA for Best Indigenous Language. Femi, while receiving the award, dedicated it to his Creator, production crew team, family, and fans, as he expressed how proud he was to have won the award, and promised to keep delivering bigger and better movies.

Last month, Femi Adebayo was elated as Jagun Jagun bagged 7 nominations at the 2024 Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA). Taking to his Instagram page to share the good news, Femi expressed how honored he was for the nominations as he expressed how excited he was for all the contributors in the nominated categories for his movie.
