Brad Pitt’s blockbuster F1: The Movie will hit Apple TV near the end of the year, bringing its $620 million success straight to streaming.
F1: The Movie is zooming from theaters to home viewing as the sports drama will make its global streaming debut on Apple TV on December 12. This comes just months after the film’s summer theatrical run and subsequent digital and physical releases in the months following, promising to extend F1‘s reach into the holiday season.
Directed by Joseph Kosinski, F1 follows Sonny Hayes (Brad Pitt), a former racing driver who returns after a 30-year absence to save a failing F1 team. The cast also includes Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, and Tobias Menzies. The sports drama premiered in theaters on June 27, 2025, to much commercial success and critical acclaim.
F1 marked Brad Pitt’s return to leading-man status in big-budget action films.
