WATCH THE VIDEO HERE The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has announced the completion of major upgrades at the Hajj Terminal of the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, in preparation for the 2025 Hajj operations. In a statement issued on Friday, FAAN said the enhancements were carried out to ensure a seamless, comfortable, and dignified travel experience for all intending pilgrims. Among the new features at the terminal are a newly established 300-seater waiting area for both male and female pilgrims, upgraded VIP and ensuite VVIP lounges, and free high-speed WiFi throughout the terminal. FAAN also revealed that a fully air-conditioned mosque has been provided to meet the spiritual needs of pilgrims, alongside enhanced scanning machines to boost security and passenger screening efficiency. The Authority reiterated its commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure and passenger-focused services, especially during major operations such as the annual Hajj exercise. Related
