Nollywood actress Faithia Williams has joined her ex-husband, Saidi Balogun, to celebrate his son’s induction.
Kemi Filani reported that Jamal, the son of the actor, had been inducted to the Pharmacy School of Medicine at the University of Lagos.
Expressing pride in his son, Saidi said, watching him walk this path has been one of his greatest joys. He noted how Jamal went through long nights and tougher times, yet faced it all with strength and grace.
Joining him, Faithia via her Instagram page, congratulated him on his new feat. She prayed for greater success and achievements.
“Congratulations, My Darling @jamalofficiall_ on Your Induction as the latest pharmacist from the college of medicine, University of Lagos
More success, greater achievements insha Allah @jamalofficiall_ @khalidgram”.
Early this year, Faithia and Saidi’s son, Khalid Balogun, had graduated from the University of Lagos with a first-class degree.
His proud mother, Faithia Williams, who was short on words, stated that she was overwhelmed with joy and gratitude at her son’s incredible achievement.
Joining her, Saidi Balogun questioned what joy was greater than this as he noted how his son had made him very proud. Praying for him, Saidi, who lost one of his daughters last year, expressed gratitude to his Maker for bringing joy back into his heart.
Saidi shares two kids – Khalid and Aliyah with ex-wife, Faithia Williams. The two got married in 2000 at Ikorodu registry and divorced fourteen years later.
The former couple finally made peace, last year as for the first time in years, Saidi sent a sweet birthday note to Faithia, showering her with love and prayers. Faithia had also done the same as she sweetly celebrated Saidi Balogun’s birthday.
Faithia fueled reconciliation rumors with him as she referred to herself by her former married name, Faithia Balogun. The Yoruba actress shocked many when she addressed herself with her former marital title, Faithia Williams Balogun.
When Saidi lost his first daughter in October, Faithia had taken a break from social media to mourn. When she returned, she made a post gushing over the deceased and appreciated the public for their support.
When Faithia also buried her father in July, Saidi showed his support and attended the burial ceremony where he was captured raining money on her.
