A new edition of Fallout 4 was announced for its tenth anniversary on this year’s Fallout Day, but that’s not the only new announcement. Fallout Day is celebrated by the franchise annually on October 23, commemorating the in-universe day that the nuclear bombs fell in the Great War of 2077.

The big reveal from Bethesda this year is Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition, which bundles the base game with all six expansions and “over 150 pieces of Creation Club content for PC, PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, with a Nintendo Switch 2 release following at a later time in 2026. The Anniversary Edition releases on November 10, 2025. Other major Fallout news includes the next Fallout 76 expansion, Burning Springs, a 15th anniversary bundle for Fallout: New Vegas, and a new, unprecedented update to Fallout Shelter.

Everything We Know About Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition

DLC Included, Plus Creation Club Content

Fallout 4‘s Anniversary Edition follows in the footsteps of Skyrim: Anniversary Edition, being an all-inclusive bundle of official content, with curated Creation Club mods packaged in as well. Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition will be available for all currently supported platforms on November 10 (FO4‘s 10th anniversary), with its Switch 2 release slated for next year.

Mods have already been available in the console version of Fallout 4, but the current menus will be replaced by a Creations menu. Creations are effectively no different from mods; they’re just officially supported – and in the case of the Anniversary Edition inclusions, vetted – by Bethesda. An Anniversary Upgrade can be purchased by those who already own Fallout 4, and for players accessing the game via Game Pass or PlayStation Plus, a similar upgrade path will be available to buy.

Longtime fans will likely be interested in the new Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Bundle, which includes the following physical items alongside a PC code for the game’s Ultimate Edition.

  • Victor Statue
  • Doc Mitchell’s Evaluation Cards set
  • Vault Boy Enamel Pin
  • Mojave Express Patch

Pre-orders for the Fallout: New Vegas 15th Anniversary Bundle are already live today, October 23. For pre-orders in the United States, click here; for those outside the United States, click here to place a pre-order.

Support for Fallout Shelter continues with the introduction of Seasons, following the now-pervasive post-launch support model of many other live-service games. Each new season will feature “different Vaults [and] a time-limited adventure, completely separate from your main vault.” Bethesda also mentions that each season will be accompanied by a battle pass, though it’s unclear if these are monetized or simply a new part of the experience.

Bethesda’s other ongoing title in the franchise, Fallout 76, is gearing up for its Burning Springs content update, which will release on December 2, 2025. Burning Springs will expand the map into what was once Ohio, and introduce new bounty hunting quests. Head honcho of the bounty board is none other than Walton Goggins’ The Ghoul, from Prime Video’s Fallout television adaptation.

Goggins reprises his role in Fallout 76 ahead of the series’ second season. Fallout Day 2025 delivered more than most iterations of the annual celebration, with Fallout 4‘s new Anniversary Edition being especially noteworthy. The added Creation Club content will keep the aging game afloat, and should be almost seamlessly integrated with the base experience.
