Fat Joe has lost a lot of weight over recent years, but according to the rapper-turned-podcaster, he says he is battling a soda addiction and drinks as many as 40 sodas a day.
“I’m not a doctor. I don’t give a f–k. I drink too many Diet Pepsis,” he revealed to N.O.R.E. “Very, very much. I got a problem. Thirty to 40 a day.”
Fat Joe says that while he knows 40 sodas a day is extreme, he will not stop drinking them.
“I got to just be like, ‘I knew I was just doing too much with them Diet Pepsis,” he continued.
“They’re not stopping me … I was in jail with a thousand Diet Pepsis.”
In 2023, Fat Joe revealed that he had lost approximately 200 pounds through a combination of diet, exercise and Ozempic.
“We just try to eat everything with the least carbs as possible,” he told US Weekly at the time. “So we try to stay away from the bread, the pasta, the rice. That’s the smartest way to eat.”
