THE Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to implementing further reforms in the transportation sector.
Wike made this statement during an inspection tour of ongoing infrastructure projects in the Kugbo, Mabushi, and Giri districts.
He was accompanied by former governors Samuel Ortom of Benue State and Okezie Ikpeazu of Abia State.
He revealed that plans are underway to integrate roadside taxi operators into a unified transportation system, aiming to create a more organized and secure commuting experience for residents.
According to Wike, the construction of modern bus terminals is part of the broader effort to address public transportation challenges and enhance safety for commuters.
