A young lady was caught after she sneaked into an estate in Abuja to steal clothes.
During an interview, she was asked if she had ever been to that estate before and how she managed to break into the house.
She explained that she has nowhere to stay, and while wandering around, she came across the house and decided to break in.
She further revealed that she engages in hookup activities and had entered the house to steal clothes, possibly find something to eat, and even spend some time inside before leaving. Unfortunately for her, she was later discovered hiding inside a large plastic bowl.
When asked about her family, she said her father is late and her mother still lives in their village in Cross River, which is her state of origin.
The young woman, who identified herself as Faith, also disclosed that she holds a B.Sc. in Banking from the Air Force Institute of Technology, Kaduna. Tearfully, she went on to narrate how friends lured her into drug abuse, which eventually ruined her path in life.
The video of her arrest has sparked mixed reactions on X (formerly Twitter). While some sympathized with her, others insisted she should take responsibility for her actions, arguing that if it were a man caught in the same situation, he would have faced harsher consequences.
