FG Gives Update on YEIDEP Funds Disbursement Date
The Federal Government has provided a new update on the Youth Enterprise Investment Development Empowerment Programme (YEIDEP) disbursement, confirming that payment activities are set to commence soon.
According to the Director-General of the initiative, Kennedy Iyere, the programme remains on track to empower over 12 million Nigerian youths in the agribusiness sector before December 2025. He noted that the government, in collaboration with relevant agencies and private sector partners, will begin an intensified weekly mobilization drive from Monday, as part of efforts to meet the empowerment target.

“YEIDEP is designed to provide young Nigerians with access to funding, training, and resources that will enable them to build sustainable agribusiness ventures,” he said. “We are fully committed to ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely disbursement.”
