FG Pays N50,000 Grant To 150,000 Nigerians This Week, Tells Applicants To Be Patient

The Federal Government has disbursed ₦50,000 each to 150,000 Nigerians through the Conditional Grant Scheme.

In a statement on her X  page on Thursday., the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Investment, Doris Uzoka-Anite confirmed that the beneficiaries received their payments this week.

Uzoka-Anite said the grant scheme aims to assist a total of 1 million people, stressing that a comprehensive list of all recipients will be published upon finalization.

She urged those who have been verified and are awaiting disbursement to exercise patience and avoid falling victim to scams, emphasizing that the entire process is cost-free.

Uzoka-Anite cautioned the public against fraudulent people who request payments for grant processing, reiterating that the scheme is entirely free and devoid of any charges.

She wrote, “Beware of fraudulent and unscrupulous parties demanding payment for grant processing.

“The Presidential conditional grant is completely free no fees required. The ONLY official source for federal grants and loans is fedgrantandloan.gov.ng.

“Grant disbursements are ongoing; 150,000 of the 1 million targeted payments have been issued as of this week.

“If you’re verified and awaiting funds, we appreciate your patience during this process. For full transparency, a list of all beneficiaries will be released upon completion.”
