CDCFIB Recruitment Portal Reopens for 2025 Intake After Temporary Suspension

The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has reopened its recruitment portal following a brief suspension aimed at addressing technical issues caused by overwhelming traffic.

In a statement released on Saturday, July 20, 2025, the board confirmed that applicants who previously initiated their applications are advised to return to the portal to complete the process. The portal will officially resume full operations on Monday, July 21, 2025.

The CDCFIB noted that the temporary disruption was necessary to upgrade its systems, ensuring a smoother, more transparent, and fair recruitment process for all applicants. “It was necessary to enhance the system to ensure it can accommodate all applicants, thereby facilitating a seamless, transparent, and equitable recruitment process,” the statement read.

Applicants are reminded that the entire application process is free of charge and no payment is required at any stage.

The portal, accessible via https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng, is now live for submissions. Interested candidates are encouraged to complete their forms promptly before the closing date.

This development marks a significant step in the 2025 recruitment drive for positions within the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, the Nigeria Correctional Service, the Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service.
