The Federal Government has called on Nigerians to remain calm amid the ongoing diplomatic tension with the United States.
Minister of Information and National Orientation, Alhaji Mohammed Idris, gave the assurance on Monday during a courtesy visit to Jigawa State Governor, Malam Umar Namadi.
A statement by the minister’s media aide, Malam Rabiu Ibrahim, said Idris is in Jigawa for the North West 2025 Youth Pally and presentation of President Tinubu’s two-year achievements.
Idris told the governor: “President Bola Tinubu has all it takes to secure Nigeria from destabilising elements and mend any cracks in our relationship with international partners.”
He added: “Nigerians should not panic; please remain calm. Tinubu has the capacity to amicably resolve the matter.”
The minister urged citizens to trust the President’s leadership and diplomatic skills.
