FG to Recruit Thousands of Youths for Upcoming National Census
The Federal Government is set to hire thousands of young Nigerians as preparations intensify for the much-anticipated National Population Census. The exercise, expected to take place in the coming months, will be one of the country’s largest data-gathering projects in recent years, aimed at providing accurate population figures to shape national planning and policy.
The National Population Commission (NPC) says arrangements are already underway to ensure the exercise runs smoothly. As part of the process, thousands of temporary positions will be opened for ad-hoc staff, creating opportunities for youths across the country to contribute to a project of national importance.
These roles will be available across different grade levels, offering a range of employment options for interested applicants.
This recruitment initiative is not only key to delivering a credible census but will also serve as a boost to youth engagement and short-term employment. Nigerians who meet the requirements are encouraged to get ready for the application process and take advantage of this chance to play an active role in shaping the country’s statistical future.
