Memphis rapper Finesse2Tymes has been arrested in Texas on multiple drug and evidence-related charges.

The rapper was taken into custody in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and booked into Harrison County Jail on October 20, 2025, where he is currently being held without bond.

According to official records, Finesse2Tymes, whose real name is Ricky Leshay Hampton, is facing a felony charge of tampering with evidence along with several drug offenses. Investigators say he was allegedly found in possession of multiple controlled substances, marijuana, and banned items while in custody.

Authorities allege that the substances fall under different Texas penalty groups, possibly including ecstasy, cocaine, fentanyl, or other narcotics. The tampering charge suggests that he may have attempted to conceal or destroy evidence during the investigation, and that he could face serious jail time.

In total, prosecutors have filed: Two counts tied to drugs under Penalty Group 2, which can include hallucinogens or MDMA, two counts under Penalty Group 1 or 1-B, covering high-risk substances such as opioids and cocaine, a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge (under two ounces) and one count of possessing a “dangerous drug,” typically referring to unauthorized prescription medications.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Office confirmed Hampton remains in custody without bail as of Tuesday.
