Finesse2Tymes is facing a fresh round of legal trouble after being arrested on multiple drug-related charges in East Texas… and he says MoneyBagg Yo is to blame.
According to records from the Rusk County inmate database, the Memphis rapper, born Ricky Hampton, was taken into custody on Thursday, January 15.
The 33-year-old was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a prohibited substance or item in a correctional facility, and possession of a controlled substance listed under Penalty Group 2.
Authorities also arrested his girlfriend, Halle Buckingham, who performs under the name FNG Shugga. Her arrest date is listed as January 14. She was booked on several drug charges along with an additional charge of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence. As of press time, Hampton has been released from custody, while Buckingham remains jailed on a bond set at $526,000.

Hours after his release, Finesse2Tymes addressed the situation on Instagram, making explosive claims about fellow Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo.
“Bagg put the police on me,” he wrote in a Story. “Y’all be wanting me to stay in jail so bad. I don’t carry nun but some Za and a yerk or 2. Yaw Nygas some real haters.”
He later shifted his focus to Buckingham, sharing an emotional message. “I ain’t gone lie, I’m sick w out u Shug,” he wrote. “On god don’t nobody know like her.”

In another post, he doubled down on his accusations, adding, “And bagg u know I know the truth. Yo cousin Big homie g name BEEN in the paper work.”
