Fire Guts Six Offices At Sokoto Police Headquarters – Independent Newspaper Nigeria

The Sokoto State Police Command headquarters experienced a fire on Saturday morning, which destroyed six offices in the administrative block. 

Firefighters managed to contain the fire after it had already ravaged the area. 

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Ahmed Rufai, confirmed the incident, stating that the fire impacted the administrative department.

“Yes, there was a fire incident on Saturday at the headquarters of the command in the state.

“The incident affected about six offices at the administrative block. The fire service later put out the fire.

“We couldn’t ascertain the level of destruction, as it falls on the weekend,” he said.

In February 2024, the Kano State Police Command reported that fire engulfed the Divisional Police Office in Nasarawa Local Government Area.
