Victor Osimhen has built a reputation as one of the deadliest strikers in world football, and his overall rating on EA Sports FC 26 reflects just that, Soccernet.ng reports.

After firing Galatasaray to the domestic double with 37 goals and four assists in 41 games across all competitions in a brilliant spell, the Super Eagles star joined Okan Buruk’s side permanently last month.

EAFC 26 is set to be officially launched on the 26th of September. With the rating cards already out, several gamers are already preparing their fingers for which players to include in building their ultimate team.

Soccernet.ng highlights five reasons Victor Osimhen should be leading the line for your squad.

Blistering Pace (92)

In modern EA FC gameplay, everyone wants a striker who can beat their man when running behind defenders. With a lightning-fast 92 pace rating, the former Napoli man will leave defenders trailing.

To put that into perspective, with Osimhen’s 92 pace rating, he’s quicker than Mohamed Salah (89), Erling Haaland (86), Jude Bellingham (80), and Barcelona wonderkid Lamine Yamal (85).

When defenders are backpedalling, Osimhen’s pace can kick into top gear to open up counter-attacking opportunities and pose a constant threat over the top and in behind.

Elite Physicality (84)

Before EA FC was, Winning Eleven and Pro Evolution soccer ruled the streets in Nigeria on the PlayStation 1 and 2 consoles, and everyone wanted to play with teams who had strong players – Adriano, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Obafemi Martins and the likes.

Pace alone doesn’t guarantee dominance for a striker. Osimhen is also a physical specimen. His 84 physicality rating puts him above Real Madrid’s Kylian Mbappé (76), Paris Saint-Germain’s Ousmane Dembélé (69), while placing him on par with a seasoned veteran like Robert Lewandowski (84), making him every defender’s nightmare.

Clinical Shooting (84)

If you don’t shoot, you don’t get to put the ball in the back of the net, both in the physical and the virtual world.

Strikers are judged on goals, and Osimhen delivers, as his numbers last season reflected. His finishing stands at 88, which means he’ll convert approximately nine out of ten attempts if properly placed.

His overall shooting is rated at 84; he is rated higher than Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal (81), Liverpool’s Florian Wirtz (82), and is on par with Real Madrid’s Federico Valverde.

While Manchester City’s Erling Haaland (Shooting-91, Finishing-94) might edge him on raw shooting stats, Osimhen’s blend of pace and finishing makes him more unpredictable and versatile for gamers.

Reliable Dribbling (81)

For a striker blessed with immense speed and strength, Osimhen also brings a surprising level of finesse. While he might not possess a five-star level of skill set like Neymar, he can certainly beat his man.

@trustedblog1 Kvaratskhelia scored the goal but guess who they’re celebrating, it’s VICTOR OSIMHEN because that assist is out of this world!!!! His 81 dribbling rating gives him an extra edge in tight spaces, allowing him to glide past defenders and create room for himself to shoot.

Osimhen’s dribbling makes him an all-round threat. Against compact defences, you won’t be relying solely on crosses or through-balls; he can be trusted to take on a defender, beat him, and carve out opportunities.

Chemistry

Osimhen’s value goes beyond individual performance as he’s also incredibly useful for squad building in Ultimate Team. Currently starring for Galatasaray, he provides chemistry links in the Turkish Süper Lig, while his Nigerian nationality connects him with a host of African stars.

This makes him perfect for hybrid squads, allowing gamers to build creative lineups without sacrificing chemistry.

Unlike many top strikers who only fit comfortably in specific league-based squads, Osimhen is flexible. His card is powerful enough to be the focal point of any team.
