Former Empire star Bryshere Y. Gray has reportedly been hit with one misdemeanor count of assault and battery in Chesapeake, Virginia, after being involved in a brawl.
According to court documents, rising drama surrounds rapper Gray after a heated altercation with one of his own associates, Dustin Wilkins, also known as Chosen Wilkins. The fight occurred Friday afternoon outside a Homewood Suites, followed by a tense argument.
Wilkins claims Gray rushed him “from behind a car,” detailing the incident in a misdemeanor arrest warrant.
“As I was explaining to him that he can’t just leave without paying adding you have enough problems…I am trying to save your life. He then charged towards me from around the car. Charged into me with his shoulder…and fighting me as I was recording the incident over the phone…a blunt blow into me and punching me.”
Despite the confrontation, Chosen sat down with 10 On Your Side’s Andy Fox, where he stated that Gray “is not a bad person,” but that he needs help.
