Four Protesters Killed by Nigerian Army During #EndBadGovernance Protest in Borno State

In a tragic turn of events in Maiduguri, Borno State, four protesters have been allegedly killed by Nigerian Army personnel during the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protest. The demonstration, which began on Thursday, is part of a nationwide movement against economic hardship and poor governance.

The incident occurred in front of the Kime petrol station in the Bolori area of Maiduguri, where soldiers reportedly fired on protesters. This violence follows the Borno State government’s imposition of a 24-hour curfew in response to escalating unrest and a recent explosion in Kawori Market, Konduga area. The explosion, attributed to a suspected Boko Haram suicide bomber, resulted in 16 deaths and numerous injuries.
